The Deadly Worm Garden |
---|
Difficulty: Urgent ♦️5 |
Large areas of the Gobi Desert have become infested with the olgoi-khorkhoi (or the Mongolian death worm). These five-foot tubular creatures live underground, exploding from the earth to spit corrosive venom at great distances. Something below has caused thousands of the worms to surface, turning miles and miles of the desert into a deadly, writhing garden. Send an agent who can survive the harsh desert and the hideous worms. The surfaced worms must be eradicated. Send in an extremely capable agent or an extremely expendable one. The worms are not to be touched. They remain lethal even post death. |

That went poorly, didn't it. Your agent's guides were all devoured, drawing even more of the creatures to the surface to feast. |
Success |
A resounding success on what was a suicide mission. The worms have been killed, the remaining creatures burrowing back underground. What scared them to the surface in the first place? |
