on October 11, 2017.Pick up the Sample Acquisition Weapon (S.A.W.) that looks suspicious like an Orochi chainsaw on the ground to Security Five's right.
On the ledge of the bridge is what seems to be an Orochi tablet. This is the Radio Extrapolation Monitor Organiser and Technology Enhancer (R.E.M.O.T.E.), so pick it up.
Leave Security Five and go back toward the wall. Luckily, there is a group of Compromised Orochi Melee-Pacification Effigies at the start of the bridge (390,380).
Those drones are compromised. Do them and yourself a favor and kill one.
Right click the corpse of a compromised drone after defeating it to harvest its organometallic innards with the S.A.W..
Continue to harvest away at the compromised drones until you have 25 samples. Each drone typically gives 5-6 samples.
Use the R.E.M.O.T.E., which will create a green radar blip and lead you to a non-Filthy sample for the harvest.
The radar from the R.E.M.O.T.E. leads to a Powered Down Cyborg (255,405) which has the desired quality of not being Filthy.
The Powered Down Cyborg is inactive and requires energy in order to be of any use. Luckily, there is a nearby mech ripe for the plucking. Destroy the Corrupted Smiler (250,390).
Pick up the Power Cell left in the Corrupted Smiler's debris. Be swift, as the cell can despawn quickly.
Go back to the Powered Down Cyborg and interact with it to install the battery.
Prodding the Powered Down Cyborg with the R.E.M.O.T.E. will reprogram it and it will run off to join Security Five.
Cross the wall and go over toward the Manticore Plaza (310,420), where more drones await.
As with before, slaughter the drones and use the S.A.W. to rend them in search of 25 more samples. This time, each harvest of corrupted effigies will provide 6 samples. Smaller drones provide 3-4 each.
Turn on the R.E.M.O.T.E. and follow the incessant beeping.
It will lead to a deactivated Orochi Prototype Smiler Mark 0.6 (195,450) being welded by one lone drone.
Attempting to use the R.E.M.O.T.E. on the Smiler Mark 0.6 rewards the warning:
The R.E.M.O.T.E. displays a protocol error - The Smiler's firmware is too old.

Apologies. I must translate my communication into your meat language. As I was saying: the firmware of the Mark 0.6 mech is not compatible with your remote. You must find a mech with the 1.0 firmware, disable it, and install the updated firmware in the 0.6 mech. Good luck.
Find a mech with 1.0 firmware, disable it, and install the new firmware in the Smiler Mark 0.6. Only then can the R.E.M.O.T.E. be used on the prototype.
Wandering the Manticore Plaza is an Orochi Smiler Mech Mark 1.0. Kill it for its yummy data.
As soon as it is defeated, hack it. You will be brought to a screen similar to the G.H.O.S.T. interface; however, it is W.R.A.I.T.H. instead. Take the firmware option 2) -- Firmware --. Systems diagnostics gives error messages, and understandably so, as the Mech was just damaged.
Download the firmware 1) -- Download -- and leave. The Prototype Smiler Mech Mark 1.0 has a fast repair time and will be back on its feet very quickly.
The Firmware is noted in the form of a buff, R.E.M.O.T.E. Stored Firmware Upgrade.
Return to the Orochi Prototype Smiler Mark 0.6 and install the firmware.
Upgraded, the Smiler will head off toward Security 5; however, it does not make it far.
Within 12 seconds, it explodes!
In the Mark 0.6 Mech's stead is a damaged drone to reactivate (235,460). It is the Welder Drone from before, and it is this drone that will make the journey back to Security Five.
This time, make way back over the wall to (570,405), where more compromised Orochi mechs roam free.
You know the procedure by now. Kill and harvest nearby compromised mechs, drones, and cyborgs. Only five samples can be gathered per mech this time.
Using the R.E.M.O.T.E., find the next mech.
The R.E.M.O.T.E. will lead to a Battle Ordinance Bot (655,415) on top of the crumbled road above the mechs. Access it by going up from stairs (750,395) on which the road has fallen over.
Upon approaching the Battle Ordinance Bot, or BOB for short (655,415), Rum will send a text suggesting subtle reprogramming after damaging the combat-oriented mech in battle.
Rum texts:
OMG! OMG! =)
I can see you! Go-go binoculars! Total vintage reference.
Maybe you're too young.
ANYWAY!
Have you seen BOB? Battle Ordinance Bot. Badass mech. I can totes mess up its programming, all from my neuromancy tower in the sky. I'll leave a protocol that'll make it go into shut down mode when you lay the smack down on it. It'll reboot, getting ready for repair protocols. Fast sleep. Dr. Chandra, will I dream? HA-Ha! Another vintage reference. While it's in that impressionable state, you can reprogram it. I mean...not as good as me.
I'M THE NEUROMANCER QUEEN, I CAN DO ANYTHING!
But it should be enough for you to change its behavior.
Nifty-keen, huh? Oh, shiz! Are you still reading this? Stop wasting time! Get to it! Hurry! LOL. Ta-ta =D
Fight BOB.
The achievement Hey, Little Sister can be completed using the clues from Harumi's text. Wave to Harumi either by using /wavebig or /wavesmall while facing her apartment from the edge of the road near where she sent the text. Ensure that her open window is visible and facing you to get credit.
Once BOB's health reaches zero, he will go into repair mode and a Makeshift Hacking Device on his back will become usable. Quickly use it before BOB repairs itself.
Drop down to the perilous train bridge below.
As with before, kill and harvest compromised mechs. The large Filth Compromised Mechs give 8+ samples, while the others give 5-7. Twenty five are needed.
Use the R.E.M.O.T.E. and head to the next non-Filthy cyborg.
Left abandoned in a shipping container next to a train on the docks is a Deactivated Security Guard (520,310) left forgotten in the carnage of strewn cyborgs.
Do the droid a favor and activate it.
Unfortunately, nothing happens.
The drone does not respond to input. It must be broken.
Return to your plucky new drone friend. When you get close, you will receive a text.
Look at your phone messages. Don't ignore the poor thing.
Security Five texts:
Greetings. My sensors detect an unusual signal broadcasting from the southwest corner of the docks. It does not match any known Orochi signals. Please investigate.
It seems to have lost some of its energy....
Go southwest toward the end of the docks (340,230).
Activate the R.E.M.O.T.E. for one final signal sweep.
The R.E.M.O.T.E. leads to a Suspicious Automaton huddled in a boat on the southernmost pier (300,110). It looks either terrified or like it's trying to hide.
Curiosity killed the cat. Prod the suspicious bulk of machinery and activate it.
You have 45 seconds to follow the odd thing out of the boat and near a warehouse.
The automaton collapses near Filth-infected humans (335,165). Kill them all and the robot will pick itself back up.
The suspicious automaton will then lead closer to the middle of the dock (385,205), where it then turns around and laughs if followed within the 45 second time limit.
Kill it before it kills you. It laughed at you, anyway.
