The dark puddle gives off a fetid, repulsive stench. It is surrounded by swarms of flies that grow in number by the second. Whatever the murky water is, it might put nearby survivors in deep trouble.
It is best to figure out what the fetid water is before warning survivors in the area. Examine the puddles and the flies closer.
There are fetid puddles throughout the Water Purification Plant. Any will serve as appropriate samples to examine the fetid puddles and take a look at their hideous, murky contents. Examining a fetid puddle attracts an increasing amount of flies to you for 60 seconds.
In order to sufficiently investigate other fetid puddles, you must examine 5 fetid puddles in a row without losing your flies.
The following coordinates are all for Fetid Puddles found within the Water Purification Plant:
The first fetid puddle investigated will cause you to be followed by a Small cloud of flies for 60 seconds.
The second fetid puddle investigated will cause the Small cloud of flies to become a Cloud of flies that lasts for 60 seconds.
The third fetid puddle investivated will cause the Cloud of flies to become a Large cloud of flies that lasts for 60 seconds.
The fourth fetid puddle investigated will cause the Large cloud of flies to become a Swarm of flies that lasts for 60 seconds.
The fifth fetid puddle investigated will cause the Swarm of flies to coalesce into an Insect Golem: the Forest Heart's Decay!
Flies from the puddles surrounded you as soon as you touched the water, and a hideous beast formed from the cloud of insects. Destroy the abomination.
Destroy the Forest Heart's Decay within 2:00 Minutes. The Forest Heart's Decay is a Level 50 Insect Golem with 37847 HP.
The Romany must be made aware of this danger. Inform Milosh about what you have discovered.
Walk up to Milosh in the Romany Camp (835, 865) to inform him about the insidious Insect Golem.
