Secret World Legends' Fourth Anniversary

It's time to come together and join the waggle dance to celebrate what has been and what will be for Secret World Legends' Fourth Anniversary! For this joyous occasion, Gaia graces her Chosen with goodies galore throughout the Hollow Earth from 25 June 2021 at 9 AM EDT to 9 AM EDT on 16 June 2021!

Witness the Talos of Gaia, sate a Gatekeeper filled with hate, bash a behemoth bee piñata known as the Beehemoth, or simply take some time to savor some sweets -- there's always something to do during the buzzing jubilations of the Anniversary! It would be remiss not to mention that the Stationmaster too has much to do amidst the celebrations.

TRANSMIT – time construct forward back now only present don’t forget to remember but now is forever – RECEIVE – initiate expression of four dimensions of experience on a two? dimensional? space? – BY PERCEIVING THIS MESSAGE YOUR FUTURE HAS SHIFTED – no coincidences – WITNESS – The Fourth Anniversary!

The Anniversary event includes hourly bosses in the form of the Talos of Gaia, the chance to learn the legend of the Talos of Gaia, the ability to gather Shards of Corruption from Gaia's Talos to then face off against a furious Gatekeeper riddled with rage, piñatas aplenty that can be beaten daily for candy and the chance at a baseball bat hammer skin, and even the opportunity to meet the biggest bee piñata of them all: the Beehemoth!

Every 2 minutes past the hour, a portal to Vibrant Agartha (550,250) near the Hollowed Halls opens for a total of 10 minutes and allow access to the great golems known as Talos - the Talos of Gaia! Defeat the Talos to receive their Genizot containing bee-autiful cosmetic and distillate rewards! Among the things within the Genizot are a total of 11 Shards of Corruption, one for each Talos whose angst they embody. Take the 11 shards to the Gatekeeper (500,175) who will then open the portal to a very unique section of Deep Agartha, where the Shards will enact a ritual to summon and then infuriate the Gatekeeper into a fight. But beware a Gatekeeper overly inundated with rage…

The Beehemoth, however, is a far less furious foe. It is an enormous bee piñata that Funcom's Community Managers and Game Masters spawn manually into Agartha right in front of the jump pads at the front of the Hollowed Halls (495,240) platform! Those who bash the Beehemoth receive the Spoils of the Beehemoth as well as the unique Title: Beehemoth Slayer. Due to the irregularity and manual nature of the Beehemoth spawn, it is HIGHLY advised that any player who sees a Beehemoth call it out in General Chat as well as any other channels they desire, such as Sanctuary, so that other players can Meet Up and join the fun!

As with every seasonal event in Secret World Legends, there are seasonal Daily Login Rewards available to claim once per day per character for the entire length of the Fourth Anniversary. The Anniversary Daily Login Rewards for 2021 include the SWL 4th Anniversary t-shirt, distillates, AP and SP, Anima Shards, Talisman and Glyph Imbuers, a Signet Fusion Catalyst, one free Epic Cache Key, a Polymorphic Glyph Exchanger, and the Plan 'Bee' motorcycle, which runs on bees!

The community itself has much planned for the Anniversary in the form of the MEGAversary community initiative. Helmed by HolloPoint and going on its fourth year with its 2021 edition styled as 'MEGAversary 4: The Fourth Age Door', the MEGAversary is an enormous collaboration of community leaders and members all eager to delight players with contests and events. This year, the MEGAversary holds the majority of its events from June 23rd through July 6th 2021. Raffles, RP events, PvE events, PvP events, art contests, and even an Alternate Reality Game are all initiated during the MEGAversary! It is with heavy hearts and immense love that we mourn beloved fellow Secret Worlder Mark “HolloPoint” Innes, who passed away on June 18th. His MEGAversary initiative will continue on this year in his wishes and with HolloPoint in our hearts. An impromptu memorial gathered in Agartha as players across the world, all touched by HolloPoint in one way or another, came together to to honor and remember him shortly after hearing the devastating news of his passing.
