Secret World Legends Tabletop Roleplaying Game Kickstarter

A Tabletop Roleplaying Game (TTRPG) book licensed for the Secret World IP and using Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition is in development by Star Anvil Studios! Set in an alternate and divergent non-canon timeline in the relative near-future after the events of Secret World Legends, this TTRPG aims to give its own spin to to the setting. For those worried what this might mean about continued development of Secret World Legends, have no fear, because Funcom is still continuing to develop Secret World Legends and further the main canon storyline at their own pace.

The Secret World TTRPG launched a Kickstarter campaign on 4 October 2022 at 1 PM EDT, a little over a year since the Secret World TTRPG was first announced back on 21 September 2021! The Secret World TTRPG Kickstarter will close on 3 November 2022 at 12:59 PM EDT.

The Secret World RPG is based on the unique setting created in the MMO of the same name. Its take on urban horror, ancient conspiracies, and secret societies is the perfect fodder for amazing stories to be told and games to be played! The Secret World RPG is powered by the Fifth Edition of the world's most popular roleplaying game.

The Kickstarter was fully backed in less than 24 hours, and is plowing through its stretch goals. If you want to back this project, be sure to do it before 3 November 2022 at 12:59 PM EDT!

Kickstarter reward fulfillment will utilize "DriveThruRPG" Print On Demand features, so any pledge promising a printed copy in actuality rewards a code to use DriveThruRPG's Print On Demand feature to print the book - but you will need to pay for the cost of printing and shipping to receive it!

A few Secret Worlders were able to quickly pick up a limited pledge allowing them to have their character included in the SWTTRPG as an NPC! Which sweetlings will we see? Other limited pledges included being able to play an online game of the SWTTRPG with the creators on the SWTTRPG, or to have commissioned character art by artists Ani Ghosh or Ron Root who are providing their talent to the Secret World TTRPG! A second set of the three limited pledges was briefly available on 5 October 2022, bringing the total number of people per pledge to 12!

The Secret World TTRPG, while an unofficial timeline, nonetheless has the sweet scrivenings of Secret World Legend's Lead Writer Joshua Alan Doetsch, also known as "Scrivnomancer", involved in writing! His presence is sure to help ensure the tabletop RPG fits the tone of the setting and respects the lore already present in Secret World Legends. We personally are excited to see more of Scrivnomancer's words!
