This year marks the Ninth Anniversary for Secret World Legends and the Fourteenth Anniversary for the launch of the Secret World as a whole, so Happy Anniversary, sweetlings! With Secret World Legends' Ninth Anniversary event, Anniversary 2026, running from 19 June 2026 at 09:00 AM EDT (13:00 UTC) to 10 July 2026 at 09:00 AM EDT (13:00 UTC), there are plenty of things to do in the honeyed halls of the Hollow Earth and topside above. Each and every year has meant so very much to us, and we hope they flow just as sweetly for you.

The beautiful buzzing bees of the community have many community events planned for the Anniversary, many of which have unique prizes and decorations made possible thanks to Funcom's support. With a multitude of events held over a wide range of content types including RP, PvE, or PvP - One always finds something they could be doing!

All community events currently announced to occur during the Anniversary in 2026 have been collected in a single comprehensive schedule to better help those who might be interested in keeping track of what's going on in the community during the Anniversary.

Bees on the Branch - 9th Anniversary Photoshoot - First Session

Come together on Kaspu Nasiru's platform (620,485, y 440) in Agartha and join fellow bees for a photo opportunity of honey-sweet proportions! Celebrate the community with this collective commemoration at 01:00 PM EDT (17:00 UTC) on 28 June 2026! There is no dress code or required cosmetics, but you are expected to be polite and collaborative for the screenshots.

Meet Up on "Aeryl" or "Vomher" to reach the correct instance of Agartha in time for the photoshoot. Kaspu Nasiru's platform is only accessible during the Anniversary, and can be reached by first jumping off the Stationmaster's platform to a branch below and then running into the active portal (545,445, y 305) at the base of that branch. The portal will take you to another branch (560,465, y 480). From there, jump down to the large platform below it. The Guardian of Gaia known as Kaspu Nasiru waits.

Screenshots of the photoshoot will be taken in 4k resolution by an attending Game Master. After the photoshoot session, the Game Master will make a selection available for download. You are free to take your own screenshots as well, sweetlings!

This description will be updated accordingly once the photographs from the first photoshoot session are available.

The attending Game Master will be acting primarily In-Character as the Stationmaster. This event is therefore partially a roleplaying event, although roleplaying from attendees is entirely optional. Messages in /say and /stagesay and /emote and /act channels from the Game Master will be In-Character unless otherwise specified as Out-Of-Character. Out-Of-Character messages are typically denoted with double parentheses or double brackets. Roleplaying is encouraged but not necessary to participate in the photoshoot.

Please use the /stagesay command instead of /say and /act instead of /emote if you wish to be heard in vicinity chat by other attendees or the Game Master, as /stagesay and /act have a 25 metre range as opposed to the 10 metre range of /say and /emote messages.

The Secret World 14th Anniversary Stream

To celebrate the fourteen (14) years since the launch of The Secret World, Player "Catboiler" is streaming The Secret World on their Twitch page starting from 01:00 PM - 06:00 PM EDT (17:00 - 22:00 UTC) on Friday, 03 July 2026, although it is unknown what this stream will entail and we thus caution potential viewers that we cannot speak for whatever contents the stream may contain.

Please note that the Guardians of Gaia Anniversary event is only partially active in The Secret World and only the Guardians in Kingsmouth Town, The Savage Coast, and The Blue Mountain will spawn. For information on their spawn locations, please check out our Legacy Anniversary Event Guide, but be aware that only a portion of the Guardians of Gaia event is available.

Please be aware that a registered account with a valid CD Key is required to play The Secret World. CD Keys for The Secret World are no longer being generated or sold.

After a group talk session at the start of the anniversary celebration show, Happy Tentacle Radio DJs Alysande "Cinnamon-Girl" Byrne, Medrina "Drina" Kamaar, and Daniel "DJ-Spectre" Murphy, each will have their own segments representative of the tone and style of their weekly shows. Props provided by Funcom, and Agarthan Denizens may even attend!

Agnitio's Daily 10 Megabosses

Every day, the cabal "Agnitio" summons 10 megabosses at 10:00 AM EDT (14:00 UTC) in Agartha! Callouts for each summon will be posted in both the "Looking For Group" default chat channel shared by Hubs, the "General" default chat channel in Agartha, and the custom global chat channel "Sanctuary", as to reach players in and out of the hubs with news of the imminent megaboss battles.

Summons are conducted at the Open Raid portal to Deep Agartha (380,270) which can be reached from the "Public Raids (Deep Agartha)" Agartha pad (495,230) on the platform of The Hollowed Halls in Agartha.

The chat channel "Sanctuary" can be joined with the following chat command depending on client localisation:

The League of Monster Slayers' Scavenger Hunt 2026

Enter by screenshotting Gaia's Chosen in celebratory story, whatever that may be to you, and then post it and your in-game nickname as well as the in-game nicknames of any additional screenshot subjects to the "To the Nines - 9th Anniversary Screenshot Contest" thread. The submission period for this contest runs the length of the Anniversary event from the time the contest is posted until the Anniversary ends. Winners will be judged and chosen after the end of the Anniversary 2026 event.
