Seventh Anniversary 2024 Community Contests and Events

This year marks the Seventh Anniversary for Secret World Legends and the Twelfth Anniversary for the launch of the Secret World as a whole, so Happy Anniversary, sweetlings! With Secret World Legends' Seventh Anniversary event, Anniversary 2024, running from 24 June 2024 at 09:00 AM EDT (13:00 UTC) to 15 July 2024 at 09:00 AM EDT (13:00 UTC), there are plenty of things to do in the honeyed halls of the Hollow Earth and topside above. Each and every year has meant so very much to us, and we hope they flow just as sweetly for you.

The beautiful buzzing bees of the community have many community events planned for the Anniversary, many of which have unique prizes and decorations made possible thanks to Funcom's support. With a multitude of events held over a wide range of content types including RP, PvE, or PvP - One always finds something they could be doing!

All community events currently announced to occur during the Anniversary in 2024 have been collected in a single comprehensive schedule to better help those who might be interested in keeping track of what's going on in the community during the Anniversary.

Come crash into the Open Raid portal to Deep Agartha from its Agartha pad (495,230) and be sure to have a boss-smashing blast!

Class of 2024 - 7th Anniversary Photoshoot

Come together on Kaspu Nasiru's platform (620,485, y 440) in Agartha and join fellow bees for a photo opportunity of honey-sweet proportions! Celebrate the community with this collective commemoration at 03:00 PM EDT (19:00 UTC) on 29 June 2024! There is no dress code or required cosmetics, but you are expected to be polite and collaborative for the screenshots.

Meet Up on "Aeryl" or "Vomher" to reach the correct instance of Agartha in time for the photoshoot. Kaspu Nasiru's platform is only accessible during the Anniversary, and can be reached by first jumping off the Stationmaster's platform to a branch below and then running into the active portal (545,445, y 305) at the base of that branch. The portal will take you to another branch (560,465, y 480). From there, jump down to the large platform below it. The Guardian of Gaia known as Kaspu Nasiru waits.

Screenshots of the photoshoot will be taken in 4k resolution by an attending Game Master. You are free to take your own screenshots as well, sweetlings!

After a group talk session at the start of the anniversary celebration show, Happy Tentacle Radio DJs Alysande "Cinnamon-Girl" Byrne, Medrina "Drina" Kamaar, "TheReaper", and their latest DJ "Twizzles" each will have their own segments representative of the tone and style of their weekly shows. Props provided by Funcom, and Agarthan Denizens may even attend!

These DJs have provided music for the Secret World Legends roleplaying community for many years, all the way since Radio Free Gaia! Let them share their love of the game, community, and music with you!

The Secret World 12th Anniversary Stream

Please note that the Guardians of Gaia Anniversary event is partially active in The Secret World and only the Guardians in Kingsmouth Town, The Savage Coast, and The Blue Mountain will spawn. Secret Skirmish: Seoul

Have some Faction versus Faction fun by participating in this 10-minute skirmish in the Seoul Fight Club at 04:00 PM EDT (20:00 UTC) on 06 July 2024 as hosted by Player "Malkeshar" with support by the Cabal "League of Monster Slayers" and Player "Vomher".

Interested participants are required to sign up to the "Secret Skirmish: Seoul" by posting their in-game nickname and character Faction on the event forum thread until the sign-up deadline of 04:00 PM EDT (20:00 UTC) on 04 July 2024, after which no sign-ups will be accepted. Participants will also be expected to join the custom chat channel #vespa at the time of the event to see all announcements for the skirmish.

At the time of the Secret Skirmish, participants will be asked to group up with other members of their Faction and wait in designated safe zones as provided by a Game Master.

A total of 10 minutes of combat will be recorded by the two judges who will both have client combat logging enabled. Each participating member of the winning Faction as determined by the judges will receive [Elaborate Glyph Fragments] x 15, [Resplendent Talisman Fragments] x 15, and [Mk IV Weapon Fragments] x 15.

The player who deals the most cumulative damage over the course of combat will receive a [High Powered Weaponry Rank 1] uniform. The player who has taken the most damage over the course of combat will receive a [Heavy Reinforced Armour Rank 1] uniform. The player who deals the most cumulative healing over the course of combat will receive an [Integrated Anima Conduits Rank 1] uniform. All of these uniforms will be provided courtesy of Funcom and will be for the Faction of the player receiving them.

All who participate by fighting in the skirmish after signing up will receive either a [Dragon T-Shirt], [Templar T-Shirt], or [Illuminati T-Shirt] depending on their character Faction, courtesy of Funcom. These t-shirts were previously only awarded during the Secret War Facebook Game alongside their respective Faction sets. Are you ready for the Secret War, sweetlings?

The "Secret Skirmish: Seoul" is a Player versus Player (PvP) event that is themed as if hosted by the Council of Venice for the Secret War. It is not an In-Character event nor is it a roleplaying event.

Most of all, have fun seeking out Secret World Legends' sights! The "LoMS Scavenger Hunt 2024", as it is stylized in its thread, will be open to entries throughout the entire length of Secret World Legends' Seventh Anniversary.

Screenshot seven things, sweetlings! Player "Aeryl" with Player "Vomher" in assistance is hosting a screenshot contest! Enter by screenshotting your character alongside seven (7) things and then posting it and your in-game nickname on the "Lucky Number 7 Screenshot Contest" thread. The submission period for this contest runs the length of the Anniversary event from the time the contest is posted until the Anniversary ends. Winners will be judged and chosen after the end of the Anniversary 2024 event.

The Grand-Prize Winner will receive the Funcom-provided prize of the highly coveted [Special Agent Dossier: Jack Boone] x 1 and their choice between either [Resplendent Talisman Imbuer] x 1, [Elaborate Glyph Imbuer] x 1, or [Mk IV Weapon Imbuer] x 1! Two Runners-Up will receive each receive [Special Agent Dossier: Jack Boone] x 1 courtesy of Funcom.

Throughout Secret World Legends' Seventh Anniversary, Player "JimmyTheRabbit" is streaming Secret World Legends Monday through Thursday evenings (EDT) on his Twitch channel! Jimmy will be playing the character "EphemeralLapin" as he gears this character to E17 -- but this bunny has some tricks up its sleeve! EphemeralLapin is equipped with two Ephemeral weapons from the Waking Dream tutorial and the Jimmy-exclusive buff "Jimmy Mode", both courtesy of our Game Director Nirvelle himself! The "Jimmy Mode" buff changes movement controls at-random and even has a chance to spawn unique enemies that have the sole goal of murdering Jimmy!
